Job summary

King County's Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) seeks an Engineer II, Systems Engineering and Reporting Analyst, to turn data from Maximo, GoPlant, AVEVA PI, and AQI WIMS into actionable metrics. You will map data flows, develop KPIs in Power BI, and help formalize GoPlant support processes.

This role emphasizes data analytics, system integration, and reliable reporting across facilities. You will collaborate with the Systems Engineering Team to track tasks, cybersecurity-related work, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical science, data analytics, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify trends and opportunities
• Understanding of technical or operational processes in supported teams
• Proficiency with Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting
• Ability to document procedures and communicate with staff at all levels

Responsibilities

• Map and document how WTD systems connect and exchange data across Maximo, GoPlant, AVEVA PI, and AQI WIMS
• Develop KPIs and dashboards in Power BI to track asset management, maintenance, and operations
• Formalize GoPlant and other system support processes including documentation and data QA/QC
• Collaborate with the Systems Engineering Team to track tasks, cybersecurity work, and build metrics/reports on workload and tools
