Job summary

King County Wastewater Treatment Division is seeking a Wastewater Construction Manager II to inspect, test, monitor, and maintain conveyance facilities including 400+ miles of pipelines. The role collaborates with multiple King County groups and offers comprehensive benefits.

The position is based at the South Treatment Plant in Renton, WA with a hybrid schedule, 40 hours per week, and non-exempt FLSA status.

Qualifications

Knowledge of HS2 inspections and monitoring.
Demonstrated experience in using spreadsheets for tracking and planning purposes.
Ability to read, understand and interpret schedules, drawings, specifications and data reports; skill in reviewing and compiling data.
Ability to perform work accurately with strong safety and quality awareness.
Knowledge of Cathodic Protection systems.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems, adapt to shifting priorities and use good judgment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; handle multiple projects.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team or independently.
Proficiency with computers and applications.

Responsibilities

Support Sewer System Inspection, Cleaning and Repair programs and coordinate with contractors.
Inspect and repair Maintenance Holes and related assets using maps and GIS.
Perform H2S sampling, QA/QC data review and maintain field testing equipment.
Assist with cathodic protection program reviews, field locating, and SOP updates.
