Water Otter Job Board seeks a Process Control Analyst II to ensure the integrity, robustness, and availability of the Process Control System at the Blue Plains Wastewater Treatment Plant in Washington, DC. Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressive experience related to wastewater treatment processes or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one (1) year of experience with process control strategies or software for digital process control equipment and related networks.
• Experience related to Emerson Process Control system, PLC programming, and Wastewater/Industrial Plant control or equivalent systems.

Responsabilités

• Recommends policies and procedures to meet permit requirements and improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Implements process control strategies using Process Control and Computer System, PLCs, and HMI software.
• Operates and maintains the PCS network and security controls.
• Interprets design drawings and specifications for new/modified control strategies.
• Creates and manages control logic; maintains control system and plant databases for integrity and reporting.
• Maintains change management standards; updates software/configurations to preserve system integrity.
• Writes documentation (control narratives, SOPs, policies) to support job functions.
• Develops work specifications; coordinates with vendors/contractors to direct and inspect work.
