Job summary

BayCare Health System in Florida seeks a Pharmacy IS Systems Analyst to deliver customer IT support within a large health network. The role focuses on understanding daily operations, identifying process improvements, and supporting pharmacy systems and applications.

The position requires a formal IT or Computer Science background with relevant IS pharmacy experience, and the candidate should be capable of participating in project management while maintaining cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Information Systems (IS) Pharmacy experience required.
• Minimum qualifications include 6 years of Systems Analysis/Support OR 2 years with Associate Systems Analyst role OR 2 years with a Bachelor's degree in a computer science field.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support for IT issues in designated health-system areas.
• Maintain knowledge of daily operations to ensure superior technical support and troubleshoot systems and applications.
• Participate in project management from inception to completion and perform other duties as assigned.
• Work across phases of systems analysis with guidance as needed.
• Understand relevant technology, tools, and methods; possess knowledge of core technical areas or business processes.

• Hybrid - mostly remote but occasional on site
• Must reside and work within state of Florida (or be open to relocate to Florida)

Pharmacy IS Systems Analyst Key Responsibilities:

• Under minimal supervision, provides customer support for Information Technology related issues in designated areas of the health system
• Technical responsibilities include maintaining a working knowledge of customer's daily operations to ensure superior technical support, identifying process improvements based on customer's needs and troubleshooting and providing client support for systems and applications
• May participate in Project Management from inception to completion and performs other duties as assigned
• Competent to work in most phases of systems analysis but may require guidance in others
• An understanding of relevant technology, tools, and methods is required
• A sound knowledge of at least one core technical area or business process is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 6 years of Systems Analysis, Design and/or Support OR
• 2 years Specific Systems experience with demonstrated competency in department as an Associate Systems Analyst OR
• 2 years experience required with a Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science field
