Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Systems Analyst to independently define system scope based on customer needs and to lead analysis, design, testing, and documentation of new or existing applications. You will provide technical leadership, resolve logic issues, and support system upgrades, while mentoring junior analysts and ensuring quality customer service.

Ideal candidates have experience across SDLC, multiple project phases, and strong knowledge of core technical areas.

Position Summary

Independently formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on customer needs and devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems. Leads the analysis, design, testing, and documentation of new or existing applications, including system specifications and programming guidelines.

Provides technical leadership in resolving system logic issues and supports system upgrades and modifications. Ensures adherence to change management policies and takes ownership of product and implementation issues. Serves as a mentor to junior analysts and models excellence in customer service.

Responsible for leading projects and supporting multiple applications or institutions while demonstrating full technical knowledge of all phases of systems analysis.

Required Experience

One of the following is required:

• 8 years of experience in planning, design, testing, implementation, support, and analysis of programs and software

OR

• 4 years of specific systems experience with demonstrated competency in the department as a Systems Analyst

OR

• 4 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science-related field

Additional requirements:

• Experience with the systems development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and design
