BayCare Health System in Clearwater, FL seeks a seasoned Associate Systems Analyst to deliver technical and customer support for IT-related issues across the health system. The role emphasizes understanding user operations and applying effective troubleshooting for healthcare applications.

Under minimal supervision, you will identify process improvements, participate in project work, and contribute to multiple project phases.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in an Information Services-related field or equivalent.
• Six years of Systems Analysis, Design and/or Support experience OR two years of specific systems experience with demonstrated competency in the department OR two years experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Health IT familiarity preferred; works with healthcare information systems.

• Maintains a working knowledge of customer operations to deliver effective troubleshooting and support for systems and applications.

Position Summary:

• Under minimal supervision, provides technical and customer support for IT-related issues within designated areas of the health system.
• Maintains a working knowledge of customer operations to deliver effective troubleshooting and support for systems and applications.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement based on user needs and participates in the implementation of solutions.
• May contribute to project work from initiation through completion.
• Competent in most phases of systems analysis, with guidance required in more complex areas.
• Demonstrates foundational understanding of relevant technologies, tools, and methods.
• Maintains sound knowledge of core technical area or business process.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates Must Meet One Of The Following

• 6 years of Systems Analysis, Design and/or Support; OR
• 2 years Specific Systems experience with demonstrated competency in department as an Associate Systems Analyst; OR
• 2 years experience required with a Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science field.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in an Information Services-related field; OR
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred
Knowledge:

• Health Information Management (HIM) workflows and processes
• Chart XR and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Medical coding and clinical documentation practices
• Document imaging, scanning, and records management solutions
• Enterprise software testing, validation, and quality assurance methodologies
• Oracle Health (Cerner) applications and healthcare information systems
