Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion SCM (Manufacturing, Inventory, Order Management, Procurement and Supply Planning).
• Experience with Oracle ERP (Payables and Receivables).
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience supporting systems used in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with business teams as a trusted partner delivering innovative capabilities to Mortenson’s technology systems.
• Troubleshoot problems and resolve applications issues with business and ITS teams and software vendors.
• Investigate enhancement requests and present solution options (config changes, extensions, or new functionality).
• Gather requirements and interpret them with the appropriate teams.
• Perform requirements analysis and functional design specifications.
• Assist with developing and maintaining test plans and test scripts.
• Follow department standards and best practices for design and naming conventions.
• Provide management with timely reporting on progress and issues.
• Build relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Work with business teams as a trusted partner that delivers innovative capabilities to Mortenson’s technology systems.
• Work with business and ITS team members and software vendors to troubleshoot problems and resolve applications issues.
• Investigate solutions for enhancement requests and present solution options. These solutions could include modifications to application configuration, application extensions, and/or the implementation of new application functionality.
• Evaluate user and departmental requests, gather business requirements, and work with the appropriate teams to interpret requirements.
• Perform requirements analysis, functional design specifications, utilizing current systems methodologies and tools.
• Assist with developing and maintaining test plans and test scripts
• Follow departmental standards and best practices as defined (i.e. design standards, application standards, naming conventions, etc.)
• Provide management with timely reporting as required
• Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• All other duties as assigned
