We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support the Office of Information Technology’s Disaster Recovery Unit.
This role focuses on analyzing, creating, and documenting recovery plans for mission-essential systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business continuity principles and experience working within disaster recovery lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Disaster Recovery team in developing and documenting Disaster Recovery Plans for critical systems.
- Conduct business impact analyses and backup assessments to identify and prioritize mission-essential systems.
- Engage with internal IT teams, agency partners, and management to align technologies with business processes.
- Document relationships between business impact analyses, risk assessments, and stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure recovery strategies align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience conducting business impact analyses.
- 2+ years of experience working within the disaster recovery lifecycle.
- 1+ year of experience with hot, cold, and warm site configurations.
- 2+ years of experience conducting backup assessments.
- Strong knowledge of business continuity management principles and disaster response procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
