Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Systems Analyst in Olathe, KS, for a contract-to-hire role blending full-stack development with business analysis. You will gather requirements, design workflows, and contribute across the full delivery lifecycle from planning to production support.

You will work with React/TypeScript, Node.js, Oracle/SQL Server databases, and ERP integrations like Baan/IFS, leveraging AI-assisted coding tools and modern CI/CD practices to deliver enterprise workflow applications.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in systems analysis, application development, or similar role, with hands-on experience in both development and requirements gathering.
• Full-stack development experience with React 18+, TypeScript, Material-UI/MUI, Node.js/Express, C#, PL/SQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Oracle APEX/ORDS and Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Experience with Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), n8n, or similar platforms.
• Experience with authentication/SSO technologies including Active Directory/LDAP and Microsoft Entra ID/MSAL.
• ERP integration experience with Baan or IFS is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on daily experience with Claude Code or comparable AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into user stories, acceptance criteria, technical specifications, and phased delivery plans.
• Design multi-stage approval workflows with role/threshold-based routing, audit trails, and approval history.
• Develop enterprise applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js/Express, Oracle APEX/ORDS, PL/SQL, and SQL Server.
• Integrate with ERP systems including Baan and IFS via REST/SOAP and identity platforms.
• Build workflow automations using Boomi, OIC, or n8n.
• Support Dev/UAT/Production deployments using GitHub and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
• Provide Tier 2/3 production support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and root-cause resolution.

Kforce has a client in Olathe, KS seeking a Systems Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity blending full-stack development with business analysis. Summary: This role builds and supports enterprise workflow applications for core processes including commission approvals, credit/refund management, vendor payments, and ERP-integrated field operations. You will work across the full delivery lifecycle, from gathering business requirements and designing workflows through development, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Develop enterprise applications using React 18+/TypeScript, Material-UI, Node.js/Express, Oracle APEX/ORDS, PL/SQL, and SQL Server
• Integrate with ERP systems including Baan and IFS via REST/SOAP and identity platforms including LDAP and Microsoft Entra ID/MSAL SSO
• Build workflow automations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Boomi, or n8n
• Design multi-stage approval workflows with role/threshold-based routing, audit trails, and approval history
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories, acceptance criteria, technical specifications, database designs, and phased delivery plans
• Use GitHub and GitHub Actions CI/CD to support Dev/UAT/Production deployments
• Use Claude Code or comparable agentic AI coding tools daily to create specifications, scaffold code, generate tests/documentation, assist with code reviews, and improve delivery
• Maintain AI development standards and guidance to ensure generated code follows architecture, security, and coding conventions
• Develop automated testing using Playwright, Jest, React Testing Library, Supertest, and Postman
• Apply OWASP/security, performance, and code-quality standards
• Provide Tier 2/3 production support, troubleshooting, monitoring, documentation, and root-cause resolution
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations and provide end-user support/training as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3-5+ years of experience in systems analysis, application development, or a similar role, with hands-on experience in both development and requirements gathering
• Full-stack development experience with React 18+, TypeScript, Material-UI/MUI, Node.js/Express, C#, PL/SQL, and REST APIs
• Experience with Oracle APEX/ORDS and Oracle and SQL Server databases
• Integration experience using Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), n8n, or similar platforms
• Experience with authentication/SSO technologies including Active Directory/LDAP and Microsoft Entra ID/MSAL
• Experience with GitHub/GitHub Actions, Postman, and automated testing tools such as Playwright and Jest
• ERP integration experience, particularly Baan or IFS, strongly preferred
• Hands-on, daily experience with Claude Code or a comparable agentic AI coding tool required. AI-assisted development is a core part of the team's methodology, not an occasional tool
• Experience configuring AI development workflows, including custom skills/commands, project-level guidance, MCP integrations, or multi-agent workflows, is a strong plus
• Strong business analysis skills with the ability to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support multi-stage approval workflows
• Self-starter and problem solver who can take ownership of open-ended problems with minimal oversight
• Proactive and curious, with the initiative to identify improvements, learn new technologies, and bring forward ideas without being asked
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Positive, adaptable attitude when priorities shift or deadlines are tight

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
