Systems Analyst – Job Description

Work Location: Remote

Scheduled Work Hours: 35 hours/week

Day-to-Day Tasks

1. Design and implement real-time and batch integrations between PeopleSoft, Workday, and third-party applications.
2. Develop and manage integrations using iPaaS platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, and Workday Cloud Connect.
3. Ensure compliance with security frameworks including FERPA, SOX, and GDPR for all data exchanges.
4. Develop robust error-handling mechanisms, logging systems, and performance optimizations for integration processes.
5. Provide strategic guidance for cloud migration initiatives and modernization of legacy integrations.
6. Optimize SQL queries, Application Engine, and SQR scripts to enhance data processing efficiency.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, troubleshoot integration issues, and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration processes.
8. Conduct regular performance assessments and tuning of integration processes to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
9. Work closely with functional teams and Workday consultants to ensure seamless transitions and successful deployments.
10. Gather requirements from stakeholders and provide technical support during integration testing and deployment phases.
11. Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the organization.

Mandatory Skills & Requested Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or a related field.

Experience:

• 84 months (7 years) of experience designing and implementing real-time and batch integrations between PeopleSoft, Workday, and third-party applications.
• 84 months of experience developing and managing integrations using iPaaS platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Workday Cloud Connect).
• 84 months of experience developing error-handling mechanisms, logging, and performance optimizations.
• 84 months of experience providing strategic guidance for cloud migration and modernization of legacy integrations.
• 84 months of experience collaborating with functional teams and Workday consultants for seamless transitions.

Certification: Oracle PeopleSoft Certification (required).

Technical Skills:
