Job summary

Raas Infotek is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams in a W2 US environment. The candidate will lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and end-to-end IT project support, ensuring clear documentation and traceability across BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.

The role requires strong communication with stakeholders, proficiency in SDLC/Agile, and hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and SQL for data validation

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or IT Business Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and other project documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, architects, and project managers.
• Support application design and solution discussions.
• Develop UAT scenarios and assist with testing and defect resolution.
• Analyze data using SQL and validate system outputs.
• Identify process improvements and recommend effective solutions.
• Track requirements throughout the SDLC and ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and project leadership.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, system analysis, documentation, and supporting end-to-end IT projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or IT Business Analyst.


• Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements.


• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.


• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.


• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.


• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.


• Experience with UAT planning, test cases, and defect management.


• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.


• Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.


• Strong experience with process modeling and workflow documentation.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Visio, Lucidchart, or similar process-mapping tools.


• Experience with APIs, web services, and system integrations.


• Knowledge of databases and data mapping.


• Experience working with cloud-based applications such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.


• Experience in enterprise-level IT projects.


• PMP, CBAP, or Agile certification is a plus.
