Job summary

Austin, United States health services project seeking a seasoned Systems Analyst 3 to design, develop, test, and support healthcare interfaces using HL7 v2 and FHIR standards. Qualifications

• Candidates must meet the minimum requirements: 8+ years in designing, developing, testing, and supporting healthcare interfaces using HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, JSON, XML, data mapping, transformation, validation, troubleshooting, and healthcare data exchange.
• 5+ years preferred in secure web portals or portal-integrated services with API integration, authentication, authorization, and RBAC.
• 3+ years preferred with FHIR solutions using US Core profiles and HL7 Implementation Guides.
• 3+ years preferred experience integrating with FHIR servers/APIs and related interoperability solutions.
• 3+ years preferred experience mapping, transforming, and validating healthcare data across HL7 v2, FHIR, and analytical data models.
• 3+ years preferred experience with healthcare terminology standards (SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, CVX, RxNorm).
• 3+ years preferred experience implementing FHIR solutions on AWS or similar cloud platforms and integrating healthcare data with cloud-based ingestion pipelines and analytics platforms.
• 3+ years preferred experience with modern application delivery practices (Git, CI/CD, testing, code reviews, logging).
• 1+ year preferred experience with AWS HealthLake, Snowflake, eICR, and public health reporting.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law.
