Job summary

AMETEK Amplifier Research is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage Windows environments, AD, Office 365, and Exchange while supporting end users and MSP partners. You’ll troubleshoot hardware and software, maintain documentation, and ensure system reliability across LAN/WAN environments.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, 24x7 support readiness, and keeping systems current with evolving technologies. Souderton-based position with strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3–5 years of Help Desk or desktop support preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities; capable of walking users through solutions.
• Experience supporting Windows OS, AD, Office 365, Exchange and related IT tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot, document fixes, and work with MSPs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first line of technical support for end users in a high-volume IT environment.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Support corporate infrastructure: Active Directory, virtual servers, Exchange, SharePoint, VMware.
• Assist MSP to setup and support internal/external networks and servers.
• Perform storage administration and maintain system configurations and backups.
• Provide 24x7 contact support for AR entities and assist with IT purchases as needed.
