Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator Technician in Colorado Aurora. The role involves maintaining hardware, voice, video, network, and server equipment to support IT services. The technician will handle installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting while building strong customer relationships.

Requires 1+ years of related experience and DoD IA certification (CompTIA Security+ CE minimum). US citizenship and TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance are required.

• Understanding of desktop computers, thin clients, servers, VoIP phones, video conferencing, cabling standards.
• Must possess DoD IA Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE minimum.

Responsibilities

• Perform Service Operations and support IT infrastructure including desktop computers, thin clients, servers, phones, cabling, and admin tasks.
• Maintain current technical knowledge to resolve complex issues requiring detailed systems understanding.
• Install, upgrade, repair and support baseline equipment and related devices.
• Perform daily system checks and incident resolution to meet timelines.
• Communicate incident status, analysis, and solutions to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers, agencies, and service providers.
