Job summary

JT4 China Lake is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to secure and configure Windows Server environments, manage access, and ensure system compatibility. The role includes document management, web page maintenance, and equipment tracking.

The ideal candidate holds an associate or higher in IT field, at least five years of related experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. This on-site position at China Lake requires no telework.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates or higher in Computer/Information Technology or equivalent training.
• Five years related experience or combination in computer system basics.
• Broad knowledge of computer science, graphics, and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate MS Windows server software including security, access control, configuration and backups.
• Monitor LAN performance and troubleshoot networking hardware.
• Organize and secure directory structures; train staff on department use.
• Document Management and CM/DM release procedures.
• Maintain and design functional web pages.
• Track equipment configurations with CA/CRL.
• Serve as POC for problem reporting and updates.
• Recommend future hardware/software improvements and upgrades.
• Provide operational status as required.
• Complete complex tasks with independence and ingenuity.
