Job summary

JT4 China Lake is seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Administrator in Ridgecrest, California. The role focuses on maintaining system configuration, ensuring compatibility, and managing Windows workstations for cybersecurity posture, with responsibilities spanning server operations and network administration.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Secret clearance and must be able to obtain/maintain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• At least nine years of experience in computer systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate and secure MS Windows server software, manage access and backups.
• Monitor LAN performance and troubleshoot networking hardware.
• Organize and secure directory structures; train staff.
• Maintain DM System, CM/DM release procedures.
• Design functional, visually esthetic web pages.
• Recommend hardware/software improvements and plan upgrades.
