Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking an on-site Systems Administrator to support IT systems, hardware, and software across campus. You will diagnose issues, maintain availability, and assist end-users and operations.

Ideal candidates have an Associate Degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. OT protocols such as BACnet/Modbus, BAS systems experience, and strong networking knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for IT systems, applications, and hardware.
• Respond to system support requests, incidents, and service tickets to address user needs.
• Diagnose system problems, errors, and performance issues to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain system software, applications, and updates to ensure system functionality.
• Document system support procedures, frequently asked questions, and knowledge base articles for user self-help and training.
• Conduct system monitoring, performance tuning, and preventive maintenance to optimize system operations.
• Provide user training, guidance, and support on system features, functionalities, and best practices.
• Stay informed about system support tools and IT service management practices.
