Job summary
CloudHQ seeks a Senior Technician, OT & Controls, to support building automation, BMS/EPMS, and DCIM across data center campuses. You will bridge IT and OT, assist with commissioning, troubleshooting, and change execution while contributing to AI and analytics initiatives forTelemetry accuracy and energy optimization.
Ideal candidates have 7+ years in mission-critical facilities, strong BAS/BMS knowledge, and experience with BACnet/Modbus/SNMP/MQTT/OPC-UA; ISO 27001 and SOC audit support is a
Qualifications
- 7+ years in controls, OT, BAS/BMS, or IT in mission-critical environments.
- Experience with multi-site BMS/EPMS/DCIM/OT monitoring and vendor coordination.
- Ability to support commissioning, validation, and change execution in live facilities.
- Strong knowledge of BAS/BMS, EPMS, DCIM, SCADA concepts and related protocols.
- OT cybersecurity principles including segmentation, secure remote access, and SIEM visibility.
- Experience with commissioning/turnover of new data center facilities.
- Certifications in networking or OT security preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support centralized facilities monitoring workflows for BMS and EPMS.
- Analyze alarms, perform trend analysis, and support fault diagnostics.
- Maintain records, telemetry quality, and system health indicators.
- Support integration across BACnet/IP, Modbus, SNMP, MQTT, and OPC-UA.
- Assist with OT cybersecurity, documentation, and audit evidence collection.
- Coordinate with vendors, site ops, and IT for commissioning and changes.
