Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to perform server and systems engineering tasks on customer-site infrastructure at JBER, AK.

The role emphasizes security, incident response, and routine operations across enterprise systems, aligned with DoD 8570/IAT II requirements. You will monitor performance, manage permissions, apply patches, and assist with project build and decommissioning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience required.
• Must meet DOD 8570 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access.
• Security Plus CE certification required; additional certifications may be needed depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Manage functionality and efficiency of servers across operating systems.
• Perform day-to-day system and network management and operations.
• Configure and use SIEM tools; develop complex event alarms and reports.
• Assist in security risk analysis and incident response activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Support build, test, and decommissioning of site systems within the network.
