Job summary

Constellation Technologies, Inc. seeks a Systems Administrator with active TS/SCI clearance for IT systems support across client/server/storage networks.

Applicants must be US citizens with active clearance and have two years of directly related experience in the last five years; Level 03 requires 15 years of direct/relevant experience. A technical bachelor’s degree is required, or five years’ substitution.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance with polygraph are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required; 5 years of additional Systems Administration experience may substitute for the degree.
• Two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to the job you are applying for; Level 03 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Provides day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Provides Tier I and Tier 2 support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Supports escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Supports the dispatch system and hardware problem resolution.
• Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems, installs/loads OS software, troubleshoots and optimizes performance.
• Supports installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches in enterprise systems.

Linux, Windows, UNIX, RHEL, Kali, Solaris, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, Fedora, Mandriva Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
• This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to the job you are applying for:
• Level 03 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (05) years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
• Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Provides Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
• Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problem and remains involved in the resolution process.
• Configures and manages UN1X and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Support installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches in support of enterprise systems for the program.

The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
