Job summary

Constellation Technologies is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to support installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise IT systems. The role involves managing infrastructure, monitoring operations, and providing Tier I/II support across server, storage, network, and mobile devices.

Experience with Cisco routers/switches is essential and TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (05) years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Supports day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Provides Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Supports escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Dispatch system and hardware problem resolution involvement.
• Configures UNIX and Windows OS and installs/loads OS software; troubleshoots and enhances reliability and performance.
• Supports installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches for enterprise systems.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
• Level 03 requires fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (05) years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
• Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
• Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problem and remains involved in the resolution process.
• Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• This candidate should have the skills and experience necessary to support installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches in support of enterprise systems for the program.
