Job summary

Constellation Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to support IT systems administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Windows and UNIX environments. A TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph is required, along with US citizenship.

The role allows for multiple levels of experience and offers a competitive salary range. Responsibilities include day-to-day ops, monitoring, issue resolution, and Tier I/II support, with opportunities to work on Cisco

Qualifications

• US citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• 2 years within the last 5 years must be directly related to the job.
• Level 03 requires a minimum of 15 years of direct/relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five years of additional Systems Administration experience on similar projects may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Supports day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Provides Tier I and Tier II problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Supports escalation communications to agency management and internal customers.
• Supports the dispatch system and hardware problem resolution.
• Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs loads operating system software.
• Installs and maintains network components and OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Supports installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches for enterprise systems.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Required:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
• This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to the job you are applying for:
• Level 03 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of direct/relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (05) years of additional Systems Administration experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
• Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Provides Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
• Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problem and remains involved in the resolution process.
• Configures and manages UN1X and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Support installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches in support of enterprise systems for the program

$175,000 - $200,000 a year

The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
