Job summary

Alger is seeking a Systems Administrator to support all users across the firm. You will be part of the IT Infrastructure team, handling end-user support, hardware/software deployments, and security incident response.

The role requires 3+ years IT support, strong Office 365 management, and knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Citrix), networking, and scripting (PowerShell, SQL). A degree in IT and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in information technology-related concentration or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and remote support for end users firmwide
• Participate in hardware and software deployment initiatives
• Participate in Office 365 related initiatives and issue resolution
• Troubleshoot technologies related to Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). E.g. Citrix, VMWare
• Take active role in managing ITSM andCMDB
• Member of Core Incident Response Team providing initial response to cybersecurity incidents
• Develop and maintain documentation of processes and components of infrastructure
• Assist in the development and implementation of technology training forusers
• Assist in development and automation of business processes at Alger
