Job summary

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and Navy under J-Tech II. The role focuses on configuring and maintaining Windows servers, securing systems, and supporting network operations to ensure stable performance across environments.

The candidate will manage databases, DM/CM release procedures, and web page design, while coordinating upgrades and acting as the point of contact for problem reporting and internal staff training.

Qualifications

• Requires competence with MS Windows Server environments, CAD/CAM, database, MS Office and web-enabled apps.
• Strong planning/organizing skills and ability to work under deadlines.
• Cross-field work and updating or repairing computer systems as needed.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license and be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily MS Win server software including security, access control, configuration and backups.
• Monitor LAN performance and troubleshoot networking hardware as per specs.
• Organize directory structures and train staff in department use.
• Manage DM system, databases and DM/CM release procedures.
• Design and maintain functional, visually esthetic web pages.
• Provide CA/CRL tracking for equipment configurations and logs.
• Serve as POC for problem reporting and version updates.
• Plan and implement hardware/software upgrades across environments.
• Provide operational status reports as required.
