Job summary

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to western test ranges for the DoD under J-Tech II. The role focuses on system administration across Windows and Red Hat, with VMware vSphere, vSAN and VxRail for virtualized infrastructure.

Responsibilities include network design, security, backups, documentation, and project-driven upgrades. Candidates should hold a related bachelor’s and pursue Security+ within six months.

Qualifications

• Must obtain CompTIA Security+ within 6 months.
• Experience in a DoD environment or government contractor setting.
• Experience with mission-specific systems; ability to learn new tools quickly.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates system specifications, installs enterprise computer systems, configures systems, establishes standards and maintains workstations and servers.
• Perform daily OS operations on Windows and RHEL to ensure security, backups and restore.
• Manage VMware ESXi, vCenter and vSAN for performance and high availability.
• Configure LAN, troubleshoot networks and ensure systems meet specifications.
• Organize and secure DM/CM systems and related databases and logs.
• Provide technical guidance and senior-level support within the system administration team.
