Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) is seeking a seasoned Systems Administrator to design, deploy, and maintain server infrastructure and applications. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and regulatory compliance, with on-site work at the Phoenix office.

You will mentor junior staff, implement disaster recovery, and ensure optimal licensing and performance. The ideal candidate brings 7–10+ years in systems administration, strong Windows Server and Linux skills, O365

Qualifications

• 5 years of systems administration experience; 7–10+ years preferred.
• Experience with Windows Server 2019+ and Windows 11; Ubuntu Linux.
• Extensive Microsoft 365 (O365) experience required.
• Design knowledge of Citrix, VMware, Cohesity, VDI, AppV.
• Expertise implementing Okta configurations.
• SCCM/MECM experience including imaging, deployment, updates, scripting.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure VM management.
• Experience with HPE Nimble SAN.
• Active Directory, DHCP, DNS; Group Policy; PowerShell.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides architecture, design, and implementation of server infrastructure and applications.
• Maintains reliability of computer systems and servers.
• Evaluates and selects server infrastructure; consults with end users.
• Ensures software licensing within contracted guidelines.
• Ensures availability and performance standards.
• Performs backup operations and disaster recovery planning.
• Installs and upgrades servers, manages virtual servers, and automates processes.
• Monitors, maintains, and configures servers and workstations; handles virtualization.
• Develops maintenance and contingency plans; documents status.
• Mentors junior team members; follows NIST and ITIL frameworks.
• Works onsite at the Phoenix office; maintains regular attendance.
