Job summary

City of Albuquerque is seeking a skilled IT professional to perform a broad range of computer systems administration duties for management information systems, backups, and server maintenance. The candidate should be capable of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting servers and related components, ensuring security and reliability of systems across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education, Experience related to server administration and related duties may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis.
• Possession of ITIL certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of computer systems administration duties in the implementation and maintenance of management information systems.
• Perform daily backup operations and ensure system data is backed up properly.
• Upgrade hardware and software to correct problems and support multi-user server-based applications.
• Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
• Install and configure servers and related components per standards and project requirements.
• Perform regular security monitoring and manage user accounts.
