Job summary
PNC Bank in Albuquerque seeks an IT Systems Administrator to perform a broad range of computer systems administration duties in the implementation and maintenance of management information systems. You will provide technical support for desktop, server and network hardware, software and peripherals, upgrade hardware and software, and fix reported problems.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science and two years of related experience; industry certifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, plus two years' experience in PC installation and maintenance, server administration, vendor software analysis and installation, troubleshooting and repair of servers, PCs and associated equipment and/or software.
- Experience described may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop, server and network hardware, software and peripheral equipment.
- Upgrade existing hardware and software and correct reported hardware/software problems.
- Install and configure vendor software; analyze and resolve issues.
- Perform a variety of technical tasks in the assigned area of responsibility.
