Motion Recruitment is seeking a Systems Administrator II in Eden Prairie, MN for a contract role with potential for hire. You will support enterprise infrastructure across data centers and cloud environments, including servers, virtualization, storage, backups, monitoring, and core services.

The role starts onsite with a transition to a hybrid schedule after initial weeks, requiring collaboration across locations and hands-on troubleshooting to keep critical systems available and secure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 2–3 years IT experience in systems administration.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise IT systems.
• Experience installing and supporting physical server hardware.
• Hands-on VMware virtualization experience.
• Experience monitoring backups and recovery activities.
• Familiarity with DHCP and connectivity issues.
• PowerShell for administrative tasks.
• Ability to support infrastructure across multiple locations.

Responsabilités

• Administer, support, maintain, monitor, and optimize enterprise infrastructure systems.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues affecting availability, security, and performance.
• Implement infrastructure projects and provide ongoing operational support.
• Serve as a technical resource across server, virtualization, storage, backup, and monitoring platforms.
