Role

Leidos is seeking a Systems Administrator II to support the NASA shared Service Center. Responsibilities include supporting IT systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Tasks involve managing IT infrastructure, supporting day-to-day operations, configuring virtual environments, Linux and Windows OS, and enhancing system performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain hardware, OS, and virtual machines in a LAN environment.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage, and network devices for high availability.
• Perform Tier I/II troubleshooting and escalate issues as needed.
• Create network and infrastructure diagrams using Visio.
• Monitor backups and perform restores.
• Deploy security configurations per NASA cybersecurity policies.
• Support application updates in development and testing environments.

Basic Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Associate degree in an IT-related field or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and server applications like IIS or Apache.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
• Four years of IT experience.
• Willingness to relocate within 50 miles of NASA center.
• Experience with Virtual Infrastructure and storage systems.

Pay range: $25.00/hr - $29.00/hr.
