Job summary

SEARHC is seeking a Systems Administrator I to support all systems and infrastructure across internal and cloud platforms. You will install new infrastructure components, document procedures, apply software and firmware updates, and uphold security configurations.

The role requires autonomy and the ability to learn new technologies. This position includes travel to locations in Southeast Alaska by jet, small aircraft, and ferry.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience managing Windows and Linux/Unix servers.
• Knowledge of AD/LDAP, enterprise antivirus, backup and monitoring systems.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL.
• Hands-on configuration, maintenance and responsibility for enterprise IT systems.
• Familiarity with ITIL, HIPAA, HITECH in healthcare IT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in team meetings, leads when appropriate and supports IT Infra.
• Executes project-related tasks and maintains system documentation.
• Maintains Windows Server environment including AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, backups, and monitoring.
• Provides Tier 3 support for infrastructure issues and after-hours travel as needed.
• Ensure security configurations and continuous improvement of processes.
