Element Care is seeking a Systems Administrator I to manage day-to-day admin and break-fix tasks for physical and virtual servers. You’ll help deploy security tools, patch management, and guard systems against unauthorized access while collaborating with peers to resolve complex infrastructure issues.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 3–5 years in IT systems, with strong OS and network technology knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Performs administrative, break-fix and technical support for security related infrastructure, servers, systems, and applications.
• Configures, patches, and maintains physical and virtual machines to protect against unauthorized access.
• Collaborates with clients, vendors, and staff to resolve complex issues risking Element Care systems.
• Provides system admin support bridging back-end and help desk teams.
• Documents processes and provides training as needed.
• Performs other duties as required.

Description du poste

The Systems Administrator I provides day-to-day administrative, break-fix and technical support for physical and virtualized servers, whichdefends systems against unauthorized access, modification and/or destruction. Scan for integrity of end point devices. Helps to configure and support security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus software and patch management systemsand infrastructure security applications. Consults and collaborates with peers and other technical staff on the resolution of complex multi-tiered application and infrastructure support issues as they arise. The Systems Administrator I works directly with Sr Systems Administrators and takes direction on deployment of new technology as well as assist in laying out the ground work. He/she participates in the resolution of system events involving cross-functional teams to achieve permanent problem resolution.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs administrative, break-fix and technical support for Security relatedinfrastructure, servers, systems, and applications in collaboration with Sr Systems Administrators.
• Configures, patches, and maintains physical and virtual Machines to ensure they are protected against unauthorized access.
• Works closely with clients, vendors, and other technical staff to identify and resolve complex issues or problems that may put Element Care systems at security risks.
• Provides system administrative support for relational all Back end and helps bridge the gap between the Back-end team and the Help Desk
• Documents and provides training as needed.
• Performs other duties as required.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Previous (3-5 years) experience within the IT systems back end.
• Previous experience in a distributed processing environment.
• Significant knowledge and technical understanding of O/S and network technologies.
• Excellent consultative and communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical ability and judgment.
• Ability to work effectively with clients and other technical staff.
