Job summary

IDEMIA National Security Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator/Hardware Technician with an Active Secret Security Clearance to maintain IT systems and passport personalization hardware at Passport Offices across the U.S.

Role requires experience at client sites, managing AD, SCCM, patches, backups, and security. BA/BS in IT and CompTIA A+ certification are required, with strong hardware/software maintenance skills.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years in systems administration or network engineering.
• Experience with Cisco switching/routing and firewall technology.
• US citizenship with active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, configure, and maintain HW and software, including AD, SCCM, and patching.
• Manage server/workstation builds, VMware, Windows/Linux environments, and storage.
• Coordinate risk mitigation and upgrades; plan for upgrades and decommissioning.
• Perform backups, restores, data management, and hardware replacement as needed.
• Document configurations, topology, and technical diagrams; maintain security controls.
• Provide ongoing IT support, incident response, and vendor coordination.
