Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled IT specialist to support the DoD Mobility Classified Capability (DMCC) program. You will manage Tier-III HelpDesk tasks, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform secure configuration across Windows and Linux servers and network devices.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, DoD-8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE), and after-hours onsite callback availability. A bachelor’s or master’s degree with related experience is expected, in addition to VPN and network

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with related experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher required prior to start.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE) required within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and DNS.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL 8 or 9).
• Experience with cybersecurity tools and scanning (ACAS, Tenable, or Ansible).
• Experience troubleshooting software applications, networking, Windows OS, and Linux OS issues.
• Experience performing system administration tasks including installing, maintaining, monitoring, recovering, rebuilding, upgrading, and patching.

Responsibilities

• Support the DISA NetOps / Tier-III HelpDesk for the DMCC program.
• Troubleshoot complex problems and perform software configuration.
• Monitor and maintain Windows and Linux servers and network appliances.
• Assist with VPN connectivity debugging and device management.
• Perform system maintenance and patching to secure environments.
• Provide after-hours onsite callback support when required.
