OpalSoft, Inc. in San Diego seeks a hands-on Systems Administrator to manage IT infrastructure, cloud services, endpoints, and security systems. The role emphasizes day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, automation, and continuous improvement.

You will administer Intune, Entra ID/AD, Azure, and Microsoft 365, support networking and cybersecurity, and develop PowerShell scripts to streamline tasks.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years hands-on IT administration in systems, cloud, network or endpoint environments.
• Experience managing device enrollment and policy configurations using Intune or similar tools.
• Strong experience with Azure AD/Entra ID-joined environments and hybrid-to-cloud migrations is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Solid understanding of wireless networking, network connectivity, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with enterprise cybersecurity tools, antivirus, EDR, and SSL certificates.

• Administer Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
• Manage Entra ID and Active Directory user/group administration and CA policies.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support for infrastructure and endpoint issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Administer Azure services (VMs, Web Apps, SQL, Virtual Networks).
• Support network, cloud, server, workstation, storage, and printer environments.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and bulk operations.
• Monitor security tools, respond to alerts, and assist with threat remediation and patching.
• Collaborate with IT teams on deployments, upgrades, and infrastructure changes.
• Research and recommend technologies to improve IT efficiency, security, and reliability.
• Participate in proactive maintenance, after-hours support, and on-call rotations.
