Job summary

J&T seeks a highly experienced System Administrator in the Maryland area to lead cross-system administration tasks across Windows, Linux, and Unix environments. The role requires deep security policy implementation, VM deployment, and strong documentation practices.

You will manage hardware, engage in inventory activities, and support users while leveraging tools like Ansible, Jira, Confluence, and NetBox. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Fifteen (15) years of experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).
• Experience with Ubuntu.
• Familiar with System and Network security policies and able to implement policies.
• Maintain and administer systems and networks (monitoring, patching, troubleshooting).
• Maintaining and deploying VMs. Able to build VMs.
• Assist in annual inventory activities.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Create and maintain system and network documentation.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Responsive to users.
• Able to set up enclaves.
• Experience with system hardware.
• Experience with NetBox.
• Managing SLURM.
• Cluster management experience.
