Job summary

Captivation is seeking a mid level Linux Systems Administrator to support daily duties on a government program. The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance, with five years of SA experience and a technical bachelor's degree.

You will manage Linux systems (CentOS/RHEL family), perform server/workstation upgrades, and support secure data transfer and STE tasks. Strong troubleshooting and LDAP/IDM familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Description

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level Linux Systems Administrator who will be assisting with daily responsibilities on the program.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Five (5) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

• System Administration experience with CentOS 7, Rocky 9, and RHEL 9
• Upgrading servers, workstations, laptops
• Experience with the Customer Secure the Enterprise (STE) tasks
• Experience with the Customer data transfer process
• Hardware installation experience (servers/workstations)
