Craftbridge Digital, a software shop, seeks a Systems Administrator for remote work across the U.S. You will maintain Linux and Windows servers, cloud accounts (AWS/Azure), and uptime while documenting configurations and recovery steps.
The role requires at least one year in systems administration or IT support with servers; scripting in Bash/PowerShell is a bonus. Excellent logging, backup discipline, and certificate oversight are essential.
Craftbridge Digital is a software shop in Austin. We build web apps, API integrations and automation scripts, and we look after business software that companies already run.
We need a Systems Administrator. Remote, anywhere in the U.S., full-time.
Most of what we build ends up on servers someone has to keep alive. Some are ours. Many belong to clients and were set up years ago by people who left.
You keep those machines patched, backed up and boring.
That means Linux and Windows servers, cloud accounts on AWS or Azure, user access, certificates that expire on a Sunday.
When a nightly job fails you read the run log, find out whether it was the server or the code, and either fix it or hand the engineer a clear note.
You also write things down. Which box runs what, who has the keys, how to restore last night's backup.
You've done at least a year of systems administration, IT support or a help desk job where you touched servers. Internships count.
You're comfortable on a Linux command line and in Windows Server.
You've used at least one cloud console.
Bonus if you script in Bash or PowerShell, or have a CompTIA, Microsoft or AWS certificate.
Medical, dental and vision for you and your family, a 401(k) with a match, paid time off and sick time, a learning budget, and your laptop and home office kit are on us.
What we read first: your CV. A link or two lines about a server you brought back helps.
