Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Princeton, NJ seeks a full-time Systems Administrator to ensure that data communications throughout the organization run smoothly and reliably. The role troubleshoots complex problems and provides immediate resolutions to avoid downtime and delays.

Starting pay is $60,000 per year. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of network systems experience. Employment is contingent upon background checks and drug testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience with network systems.
• 1 year of experience with computer repair, peripheral installation and software setup.
• Ability to use cable equipment and basic hand tools safely.
• Knowledge of basic administration of Microsoft NT networks.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Employment is contingent upon background, child abuse registry, and drug testing checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement network systems infrastructure and standards.
• Analyze performance issues, bottlenecks, security weaknesses, and systems concerns.
• Install computers, printers, and equipment for staff support.
• Provide support for operations, software applications, network monitoring, and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all hardware provided to employees.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections or investigations.

We are seeking a full-timeSystems AdministratorinPrinceton, NJ.The Systems Administrator ensures that data communications throughout the organization are continually running smoothly and reliably. The Systems Administrator troubleshoots complex problems and provides immediate resolutions to avoid downtime and delays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement network systems infrastructure, strategies, standards, and design based on industry best practices and analysis of user needs
• Analyze, monitor, and advise on performance issues, bottlenecks, potential security weakness, and systems concerns
• Install computer systems, printers, and other equipment to support staff throughout the organization
• Provide support for operations, software applications, network monitoring, and diagnostic tools
• Maintain accurate inventory of all hardware provided to employees for business use
• Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of experience with network systems
• One year of experience with computer repair, installation of peripheral boards, and software setup
• Ability to use cable equipment and basic hand tools in a safe and effective manner
• Knowledge of basic administration of a Microsoft NT networks
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
