Next Perimeter is seeking a Systems Administrator to own the configuration and maintenance of client environments, resolving escalated issues, and driving projects from the Engineering team. You will manage Microsoft 365 tenants, Entra ID and Intune configurations, handle escalations, document root causes, and follow Next Perimeter's blueprint with runbooks and standards.
This is an in-office role with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Next Perimeter runs IT and security for companies that want both to be quiet. The job is engineering calm: standardized environments, a modern stack, and no legacy infrastructure to babysit.
The inside of the company works the same way. Clear goals every quarter. Your own lane, with no layer between you and the outcome. The salary range is on the listing. PTO is unlimited. Hybrid opens up after onboarding. Offices in Tampa and Los Angeles.
Calm. By design.
We're looking for a Systems Administrator to own the technical execution of configuring and maintaining client environments, resolving escalated issues the Help Desk can't close, and carrying out the projects our Engineering team scopes.
You'll administer client environments day to day: managing and maintaining Microsoft 365 tenants, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Conditional Access policies across our client base, and building and maintaining Intune configurations - Autopilot deployments, configuration profiles, compliance policies. You'll also keep monitoring, patching, and alerting current across managed endpoints.
You’ll handle escalations, taking ownership of tickets the Help Desk can't close on their own - identity issues, endpoint failures, policy conflicts - and documenting root cause and resolution so the same issue doesn't come back around.
You’ll execute scoped projects handed off from scoping, carrying them out to spec and on schedule, and flagging scope gaps back to the scoping owner instead of quietly absorbing the extra work.
And you'll maintain standards: following the Next Perimeter Blueprint for client environments, flagging drift when you see it, and keeping runbooks and internal documentation current as our stack evolves.
We're looking for a candidate who has solid hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune - not just exposure, but real configuration and troubleshooting work. You must be able to take a ticket that's stumped the lower tiers and actually run it to ground. You need to care about the fix holding, not just closing the ticket. And you have to be comfortable following documented standards and process - this isn't a build-it-from-scratch role.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for career growth in cloud-first IT service delivery, automation, and cybersecurity. Our dynamic and supportive work environment is centered on operational excellence, providing employees with the tools and resources needed to succeed. Additionally, team members gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge security and lifecycle management technologies, ensuring they stay at the forefront of industry advancements. Lastly, you'll enjoy unlimited vacation, sick leave, and access to our Employee Assistance Program to support your well-being.
You'll be joining a company that’s redefining what IT should look like for modern, cloud-first organizations. We don't patch together tools or rely on legacy thinking. Instead, we offer our clients a zero-fuss experience with clear standards, secure environments, and support that just works. Internally, you'll be part of a team that values precision, documentation, and professionalism - and you'll have the opportunity to grow into deeper engineering work over time.
This is an in-office position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Upon the successful completion of Next Perimeter's 90-day introductory period, you'll be allowed to select one (1) recurring work-from-home day.
