Our client is investing heavily in the modernization of its finance and accounting infrastructure and is seeking a Systems Accountant to support a multi‑year transformation initiative. This role is ideal for a hands‑on accounting professional who understands both financial operations and the systems that power them.
As a key member of the project team, you'll partner with Accounting, Finance, IT, and business leaders to optimize processes, improve reporting capabilities, and ensure a successful ERP implementation and adoption across the organization.
Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Accounting, and ERP project teams
Support implementation, enhancement, and optimization efforts within Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday
Analyze accounting workflows and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
Participate in system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities
Assist with data migration, validation, reconciliation, and conversion efforts
Develop reporting solutions that improve visibility into financial performance and key metrics
Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes during implementation phases
Create detailed documentation, system procedures, and training materials for end users
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions
Identify inefficiencies and recommend best practices to improve internal controls and financial operations
Provide post‑go‑live support and drive user adoption across the organization
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
3+ years supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or finance transformation projects
Hands‑on experience with Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or similar ERP platforms
Strong knowledge of:
General Ledger
Financial Reporting
Fixed Assets
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Budgeting & Forecasting
Month‑End Close
Advanced Excel skills and experience utilizing reporting tools and data analytics
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Large‑scale ERP implementation or migration projects
Multi‑entity or multi‑location organizations
Hybrid Accounting and Systems responsibilities
Experience supporting SOX compliance and internal controls
Manufacturing, Healthcare, Construction, Financial Services, or Professional Services industries
CPA, CMA, or ERP certifications preferred
Finance teams gain greater visibility through improved reporting and dashboards
Month‑end close processes become more efficient and streamlined
ERP implementation milestones are delivered on time and within scope
Data integrity and financial controls are strengthened
Users successfully adopt new processes and technology solutions
Pay Details: $65.00 to $100.00 per hour
