Memorial Hermann is seeking a Senior Patient Safety Specialist to lead the system-wide patient safety program, drive clinical process improvements, and reduce medical errors. Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree or above in nursing, pharmacy, or related clinical area; Master preferred.
• Licenses/ Certifications: CPHRM, CPHQ and/or CPSO, or equivalent required, or Certification within 12 months of employment.
• Experience / Knowledge / Skills: 8 years in healthcare with supervision; 3 years in quality or patient safety; 2 years bio-statistical or quantitative analysis; proficient in event analysis; knowledge of high reliability methodology.

Responsabilités

• Lead system-wide patient safety program and drive improvements.
• Coordinate patient safety committees and education for clinicians.
• Analyze data to support cost containment and safety outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission Patient Safety Goals and regulatory reporting.
• Mentor and develop Patient Safety Specialists across the system.
• Promote safety culture and interdisciplinary collaboration.
