Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Hospital Quality Manager to lead the hospital quality and patient safety program. You will supervise staff, drive robust process improvement, ensure high reliability, and maintain regulatory readiness.

You will partner with physicians and leadership to optimize outcomes and manage budgets while advancing a culture of safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related clinical area required.
• Healthcare Quality Certification (CPHQ) required or within twelve months of employment.
• Minimum three (3) years acute hospital-based experience.
• One (1) year supervisory experience.
• One (1) year experience in clinical performance improvement or quality management program.
• Working knowledge of robust process improvement techniques.
• Knowledge of leading practice in clinical care and regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the hospital quality and patient safety program.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to manage outcomes measures and budgets.
• Lead quality improvement projects and educate leadership, physicians, and staff on high reliability methodologies.
• Coordinate accreditation and regulatory compliance within the hospital (JCAHO, CMS, TDH).
• Foster a culture of patient safety and service excellence across the hospital.
