Job Opportunity: System Verification and Validation Engineer at NASA Johnson Space Center

We are looking for a System Verification and Validation Engineer to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop test cases and scripts for software verification, integrating software from various vendors.
2. Create tests for dynamic physical systems.
3. Perform data analysis and simulation.
4. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in developing and testing high-criticality software as part of an Integrated Product Team.
• Proficiency with C/C++ in a Linux environment and agile development methods.
• Quick learner, self-motivated, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Python scripting.
• Experience with software development lifecycle and NASA Gateway Spacecraft systems.
• Familiarity with web-based collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, Slack, SharePoint.
• Knowledge of safety-critical software standards.
