Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Rancho Bernardo, CA seeks a System Test Engineer/Principal System Test Engineer to drive integrated test plans and system-level analyses in an Agile environment.

The role requires active US Government clearance (Secret/Top Secret), DOORS/Jazz proficiency, MQ-4C Triton familiarity preferred, and the ability to work extended hours with some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field with 2 years' related experience or Master’s with 0 years.
• For Principal: BS +5 years or MS +3 years or PhD +1 year in engineering.
• Active US Government clearance (with BI in past 6 years or Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance within time.
• Transfer and maintain in-scope final adjudicated clearance.
• Willingness to support extended hours, weekend shifts, and second shift.
• Experience working with requirements.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Integrated Test Plans and schedules for SYSIII testing.
• Provide laboratory support for integration testing activities.
• Lead test planning working groups.
• Collaborate with design and analysis teams to define test configurations and data needs.
• Review test requirements for completeness of the program.
• Perform technical system-level analyses and evaluations.
• Support test readiness reviews and briefings.
• Analyze pre/post-test data to identify anomalies and resolutions.
• Maintain metrics on testing status and constraints.
