Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a System Test Engineer or Principal System Test Engineer to join our Rancho Bernardo team in California. You will drive integrated test plans, lead lab testing, and collaborate with design and analysis groups in an Agile environment to ensure system readiness.

Qualifications include a STEM degree with 2+ years' experience (or advanced degrees), active US government clearance, and experience with DOORS and IBM Jazz.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related professional/military experience, or a Master’s with 0 years.
• Active US Government clearance, with ability to obtain SAP clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government clearance and program access as required.
• Willing to support extended hours and weekend/second shift as needed.
• Experience with DOORS and IBM Jazz.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Integrated Test Plans and detailed test schedules.
• Provide laboratory support for integration testing.
• Organize and lead test planning working groups.
• Collaborate with design and analysis teams to define test configurations.
• Review and evaluate test requirements for completeness.
• Conduct system-level technical analysis and comprehensive evaluations.
• Support test readiness reviews and pre/post-test briefings.
• Conduct and contribute to pre- and post-test data analyses to identify anomalies and track metrics.
