Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a System Test Development Engineer in Fort Worth, TX. You will bridge manufacturing, quality and engineering to maintain and improve device test solutions, including test stand development and instrumentation programming.

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering or technical discipline, 2+ years in manufacturing, and experience with electrical/electromechanical testing, LabVIEW, AutoCAD, and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or technical discipline required.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in electrical/electromechanical test.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Engineering and Manufacturing to develop test equipment from development through validation.
• Provide ongoing technical support to test personnel and operational management.
• Plan, design, assemble, and commission of new test systems.
• Modify software on existing systems and develop software on new systems.
• Drive continuous improvement and expansion of test systems.
