Job Description

Job Summary:
Support the Software Test and Tool Development activities for a medical equipment development project. The expert will plan, develop, and execute software testing, and evaluate the verification status of the product. This role involves working with a globally distributed team on product development, verification, and release.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application software development including test automation
2. Creating Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Reports, Test Cases, and Test Scripts
3. Debugging automation framework architecture and development issues to improve UT/IT automation framework
4. Functionality development in application software
5. Interacting with stakeholders including software development and verification teams
6. Working in a global delivery environment

Location: Waltham, MA (Onsite)

Bill Rate: $40.64/hr

Qualifications:

• 5-8+ years of experience in software development and testing of medical device systems, including integration with Lab devices (e.g., Class II & Class III). At least 2 years of experience in medical devices/healthcare is essential.
• Extensive experience in Python, including threading and multiprocessing libraries, Pandas, Numpy, SciPy, PyTest, Cucumber, etc.
• Experience in building test frameworks and automating workflows using Selenium & Squish
• Proficiency with tools such as Git, GitLab, GitBucket, Accurev, Jira, Jenkins, and Windchill
• Experience with ISO and FDA documentation and compliance for medical devices is preferred.

Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SDLC and STLC
• Ability to work independently or within teams
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience in other engineering disciplines with proven software training)
