Job Details:

Support the Software Test and Tool Development activities for medical equipment development projects. The expert needs to plan, develop, and execute software testing and evaluate the verification status of the product. This role also requires working with a globally distributed team involved in product development, verification, and release.

Title: Test Automation Engineer

Location: Waltham MA / Minneapolis MN

Duration: Full Time

Your Role

• Application software development including test automation
• Creating Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Reports, Test Cases, and Test Scripts
• Debugging automation framework architecture and development issues to improve UT/IT automation framework
• Functionality development in application software
• Interactions with other stakeholders including SW development, verification, etc.
• Working in a global delivery environment

Your Skills And Experience

• 5-8+ years of experience in software development and testing of medical device systems, including integration with Lab devices (e.g., Class II & Class III). Experience in medical devices/Healthcare is essential.
• Extensive experience in Python, including threading and multiprocessing libraries like Pandas, Numpy, SciPy, PyTest, Cucumber, etc.
• Experience in building test frameworks and automating workflows using Selenium & Squish
• Tools expertise in Git, GitLab, Accurev, Jira, Jenkins, and product lifecycle management tools like Windchill
• Experience with ISO and FDA documentation and compliance for medical devices is preferred

Other Skills

• Hands-on expertise in SDLC and STLC
• Ability to work independently or within project teams
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering (or relevant experience with other engineering disciplines)
