Job summary

WOW! is seeking a System Technician to work in the field, keeping our network strong and reliable. You will troubleshoot and repair HFC networks, test signal performance, and maintain critical equipment while supporting outages and restoration efforts. Customer service is a key part of this role.

New starting pay ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, with bonuses, certifications, and benefits to support growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting/repairing in HFC networks is highly preferred.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
• Comfortable working outdoors and staying active.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HFC networks.
• Test and optimize signal performance.
• Maintain key network equipment (nodes, fiber systems, power supplies).
• Perform fiber splicing and activation.
• Handle outages and support emergency restoration.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing WOW!
